Broughton Street has seen a lot, but few things on it generate as much genuine delight as a group of visitors rounding a corner with full mouths and wide eyes. Savannah Taste Experience turns a simple afternoon into a rolling feast, pairing the city's deep culinary roots with the kind of storytelling that makes a meal mean something. With a 4.8-star rating across 562 reviews, the guides here have clearly figured out the formula.

Every tour is led by a local who knows which kitchen to knock on and why. Guests who joined Beck's history-forward walk came away knowing Savannah's squares as intimately as its flavors. Those who toured with Demi left raving about the sheer volume of food and the equally generous helpings of local lore. That combination, great bites at places you'd never stumble into alone, is exactly what sets this company apart from a self-guided stroll with a phone map.

The tours depart from 108 W Broughton St, right in the center of Savannah's most walkable district. Whether you're a first-time visitor trying to squeeze the city into a single day or a return traveler finally ready to go deeper than the obvious tourist stops, a Savannah Taste Experience tour earns its place at the top of the itinerary.

What We Offer

The core offering is a walking food tour that covers multiple stops, multiple tastings, and a genuinely entertaining guide who doubles as a neighborhood historian. Routes weave through Savannah's famous squares, ducking into local restaurants and specialty spots that rarely get the spotlight they deserve. You eat, you walk, you hear stories that actually stick.

Bar tour options are also available for groups who want to pair Savannah's cocktail culture with its culinary one. Private and custom tours can be arranged for special occasions, corporate outings, or anyone who'd rather not share their guide with a crowd. Each experience is designed to feel less like a structured excursion and more like tagging along with a well-connected local friend.

Booking is handled online through the company's website, with multiple tour times available throughout the week. Group sizes stay manageable so every guest gets face time with the guide and enough food to actually feel satisfied by the end.

"What a great way to spend a day in Savannah! We were only there for one day and Beck did a great job teaching us the history of Savannah and introducing us to some amazing food! Entertained us from 35-60+ years old. Even in the heat it was a great time! Loved the store at the end where we could purchase delicious sauce we had on the tour."

"We did two different food tours and I would highly recommend! We did the first squares tour with Demi and she was the best!! We tried so much good food, walked all over, and she gave us such interesting information about Savannah and its architecture. We also did the secrets and southern tour with Shannon and she was a hoot! More good food, interesting information, and really good recommendations for future trips."

"We had a great experience with Ana taste experience food tours when visiting Savannah last weekend! The tour was a lot of fun! We got to try some great food at places we probably wouldn’t have stopped on our own. The drink drinks were also really good! If you’re visiting Savannah and looking for something fun and unique to do, I would highly recommend booking this tour!"

We ate such good food from hidden gems all over Savannah river street You get sweet stuff you get savory stuff you get food combinations you never would think taste good but taste amazing, It’s really a One of a kind and I really appreciate the work that went into this! This is worth every money in your pocket and if I had cash, I would’ve left a graceful tip, I wish I had took more pictures, but I was having too much fun enjoying everything around me"

"Very fun experience before we got on our flight! We would recommend taking this tour either first or second day of your trip as Gail did a great job recommending food spots and things to do while you’re in Savannah. The food was very tasty and it was a pleasant walk to and from each tasting spot. They also accommodate any allergies or preferences with great alternatives. The donut pork slider was a must try."
